Send a Parcel to Barcelona, Spain
The largest metropolis on the Med Sea, Barcelona is home for 1.6 million people within its city limits, and 4.5 million people in its urban spread.
Barcelona was founded as a Roman city and was of importance in the Crown of Aragon. Under siege many times throughout history, Barcelona is now only besieged by the many football fans throughout Europe that support the huge football club of the same name.
The city is a leading light in tourism, sports and trade exhibitions. Indeed in recent years tourism has boomed within the city. It’s the sixteenth most visited city in the World and only surpassed in visitor numbers in Europe by London, Paris and Rome.
The city's Forum Park is now home to one of Europe's largest exhibition centres with floor space approaching 405,000 square metres! This makes it the second largest venue in Europe. Accordingly this is now bringing huge numbers of trade visitors to the city, many of whom stay overnight or extend stays into the weekend.
Top of the must see list is La Sagrada Famillia, which is a church and although it is not finished it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Unbelievably just a couple of decades ago it was shunned by many locals and tourists alike, and was very much unloved. My how times have changed! If you don't take a photo of this people won't believe you’ve been to Barca, as many people call the city.
The city is the capital of Catalonia and industry in the region contributes 20% to the GDP of the region.

Good serviceGood service. 1st time I have used this type of transporting items to Spain. Arrived on the date it was supposed to be delivered. Can't fault the service.
Instructions pte-collection perfectly…Instructions pte-collection perfectly clear and labels easily printed and explained. Collection as promised and driver very courteous and helpful. Tracking very easy to follow and parcel only took longer than expected because of a Friday Bank Holiday in Spain. Have always used this company and the standard has always been excellent.it's also easy to convey tracking information to recipient by mobile phone or give tracking code to recipient as well.
I shipped a large package to Spain…I shipped a large package to Spain using WPS. They used DHL as the carrier. I carefully measured the package adding a couple of centimetres to all dimensions to be on the safe side. The package weighed 35 kilos and was 100 x 70 x 70 cms. A couple of days after delivery I had an e mail from WPS stating that DHL stated the package was 98 kilos and larger than stated. They requested a further £200+ pounds stating I had agreed to additional fees if the dimensions were incorrect. Which is true. After several e mails with Richard at WPS who was in contact with DHL, the matter was resolved with no additional charges to me. Top marks to WPS highly recommended by me; not so much DHL who may have been trying it on!
Recommended, great service to Spain.Got my large parcel collected as arranged and delivered to Spain 3 working days later as arranged. Would definitely use WPS again.
Top service for European parcel deliveryI very rarely sing the praises of a courier as so many of them take longer than promised, take insufficient care of the consignment and their tracking falls short of the real time expectations one has. However, I sent 2 packages with Worldwide Parcel Services, one to Spain, the other to Italy, and I have only praise. First up, the cost was less than Royal Mail and much less than the other better known courier names. The parcels were collected on time and I was able to track every step of the way; no lag, no black holes. I think end-to-end, the consignments took little more than 3 days, far better than the time it can take for a UK parcel to be delivered. This was a very good value, joined up service which I will undoubtedly use again.
