Send a Parcel to Barcelona, Spain

The largest metropolis on the Med Sea, Barcelona is home for 1.6 million people within its city limits, and 4.5 million people in its urban spread.

Barcelona was founded as a Roman city and was of importance in the Crown of Aragon. Under siege many times throughout history, Barcelona is now only besieged by the many football fans throughout Europe that support the huge football club of the same name.

The city is a leading light in tourism, sports and trade exhibitions. Indeed in recent years tourism has boomed within the city. It’s the sixteenth most visited city in the World and only surpassed in visitor numbers in Europe by London, Paris and Rome.

The city's Forum Park is now home to one of Europe's largest exhibition centres with floor space approaching 405,000 square metres! This makes it the second largest venue in Europe. Accordingly this is now bringing huge numbers of trade visitors to the city, many of whom stay overnight or extend stays into the weekend.

Top of the must see list is La Sagrada Famillia, which is a church and although it is not finished it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Unbelievably just a couple of decades ago it was shunned by many locals and tourists alike, and was very much unloved. My how times have changed! If you don't take a photo of this people won't believe you’ve been to Barca, as many people call the city.

The city is the capital of Catalonia and industry in the region contributes 20% to the GDP of the region.

Just remember when sending a parcel to Spain that the address format can be slightly different from the UK. Always make sure you put down the correct address exactly as you have been given it, rather than altering the format of it in any way.

Amy the best customer service person I’ve ever spoken to

Your service was the best ever. As I did have a few doubts about what I was sending even though it was only mouthwash. I had to speak to Amy about 4 times. I have never found someone so helpful. That girl should be employee of the year. And to top that the parcel was picked up I Uk at 5pm Tuesday and delivered in Spain 1pm next day, incredible service

Collected parcel via DHL carrier and posted to Spain . Came 2 days later than agreed postage but I think that was more to do with Spanish bank holidays. Other than that the cost was very good and service very good
