Céad míle fáilte (a thousand welcomes)

Ireland is known for being one of the warmest and more welcoming nations anywhere in the world. It may be a small country, but it has a huge reputation for being lively and vibrant. The Emerald Isle has given the world many treasures over the years, such as Guinness, St Patrick’s Day, and some of the finest rugby players the world has seen.

That being said, Ireland is more than just a great place to visit. Ireland is one of Britain’s key trading partners; a relationship that handles well over £1 billion in trade every year.

Whether you are sending a parcel to relatives in Cobh, a business letter to Dublin or perhaps a gift to Galway sending a parcel to Ireland can be a difficult process. One of the best options is to use a discount courier service. Here at WPS we are able to deliver parcels to Ireland in 2-3 days from just £15.45.

Worldwide Parcel Services only use trusted and recognised couriers services. We are able to offer a variety of different parcel delivery services including DHL and Interlink. For heavy and awkward parcels, we can deliver a parcel that weighs up to 500kg regardless of its shape or size.

One change is that all shipments from the UK to EU countries will require a commercial/pro forma invoice. When you book a parcel to Ireland with WPS, we will automatically create these and send them electronically to the courier. If you are shipping as a business, you will need to provide your EORI number.

You will not be charged VAT by us when booking your shipments, however, this and other fees may be payable by the recipient in the destination country. For more information about Brexit and what it means for your parcel, read our full guidance here.
