Almost 5 stars!

Although would have loved to give 5 stars, I thought that it had said the parcel would be delivered 48 hrs after collection. It sadly took almost a week, but it did arrive safely at the destination which was 1 to Germany and 1 to Denmark.

Parcel from UK to Germany

Parcel to Germany

With the strongest economy in the European Union and one of the world’s most prominent international trade hubs, Germany is one of the UK's most popular parcel destinations. It is currently the UK’s largest EU export partner country and only second to the USA as an export market for the UK accounting for 19.3% of all UK exports. It is not only the UK that uses the German market as it is the third-largest exporter of goods globally and the third-largest importer in the world. Shipments to Germany from the UK are still growing at a high rate and don’t look to be slowing down any time soon.

Whether you are sending a parcel to Berlin or a package to Frankfurt, sending a parcel can be a scary prospect. One of the best options when sending a parcel abroad is to use a parcel courier. At WPS we are able to deliver a parcel to Germany in 2-3 days with prices starting from just £10.95.

At Worldwide Parcel Services we only use trusted and recognised couriers for our parcel deliveries. We are able to offer a variety of different courier services and delivery options including DHL and Interlink. We can handle parcels that weigh up to 500kg regardless of the shape or size.

Shipping and Customs

Germany is a member of European Union which means that are no custom fees when sending a parcel. However there are still items which are prohibited from entering the country.

We recommend you always research what you can and can't send before shipping to Germany.

Alternatively, you can check the Worldwide Parcel Services restricted and prohibited items list here and check the Germany customs information website here.

Some things that are uniquely prohibited include:

  • Absinthe
  • Religious notations on the address side of articles
  • Mobile phones containing lithium
  • Lithium batteries
  • Playing cards
  • Pulverized cocoa beans.

Although we have listed a few, it is still important to check the Germany prohibited items list before sending a parcel with WPS.

When you book with us, we'll send you all the forms you need to fill out and attach to your package so that it easily gets through German customs.
