Send a Parcel to Copenhagen, Denmark

Send a Parcel to Copenhagen, Denmark

Copenhagen is the Capital City of Denmark built on the eastern coast of Zealand with a range of tunnels and bridges connecting the different parts of the city. The city developed from a Viking fishing settlement, which started in the 10th Century and grew over the years to a major city in the 17th century when its ports sent ships to all parts of the world. There were various skirmishes with neighbours but the worst was with Horatio Nelson who defeated the Danish and destroyed much of the fleet after famously putting his telescope to his blind eye so that he could ignore the fleet commanders' orders.

Today the city has the unique situation that it has a great relationship with its neighbour Malmo across the water in Sweden that they are developing as one city in many places. The link from Copenhagen is the fabulous Oresund Bridge and Tunnel, which is one of the engineering wonders of Europe.

Copenhagen has the largest commercial centre in the country and also in Northern Europe with an excellent Stock exchange. The city is generally serviced based with much of its work being carried out in the scientific area with research and development. It is particularly strong in the bio medical area with 50 major bio medical companies residing in the area. It is also working with its partners across the water in this strangest of metropolitan areas. The port and the company Maersk are still an important to Copenhagen.

Copenhagen has a great tourist trade with some excellent buildings, museums, theatres and cultural centres to visit.

The parcel trade is good and the Copenhagen Airport is the busiest in the North of Europe. Wages are very high in Denmark and prices of goods seem exceptionally high but this makes UK goods very attractive and there are many opportunities for the UK business to compete in this market place. Delivery prices are cheap as the bulk cost is in getting the parcel to Demark.

Amy the best customer service person I’ve ever spoken to

Your service was the best ever. As I did have a few doubts about what I was sending even though it was only mouthwash. I had to speak to Amy about 4 times. I have never found someone so helpful. That girl should be employee of the year. And to top that the parcel was picked up I Uk at 5pm Tuesday and delivered in Spain 1pm next day, incredible service
