Send a Parcel to Bonn, Germany

This city used to be the capital of Germany, and its most famous resident is probably one Ludwig van Beethoven. It’s one of Germany's smaller atmospheric cities, which is big on café and street culture. Its beginnings can be traced back to around 9 BC when the Romans started to build in the area.
When the Romans finally left then Bonn proceeded to get destroyed on a regular basis throughout the coming centuries.
Most of the city centre can be got around on foot although Bonn has excellent buses, trams and a subway system. You can also tour the city by bike.
Key sites to see are the University main Building, which you can walk in to. Das Bonner Munster is a stunning basilica located right in the city centre and the Kreuzbergkirche is a baroque church that is believed to have burnt pieces of the holy cross buried in it.
For something a little spookier then visit the Alter Friedhof cemetery as dark approaches and marvel at its majestic and atmospheric graveyard.
You can also take in the sites of a couple of buildings relating to when Bonn was Germany’s capital city such as the Palais Schaumburg, which until 2001 housed the office of the Chancellor.
When it comes to taking in the city's culture you will be pleased to hear that most museums are free to visit. One exception is the Arithmeum, which houses the largest collection of mechanical counting museums in the World.
A must see visit is the place of Beethoven’s birthplace.
If you are looking to send a parcel UK to Germany, the city is also home to the ‘Post Tower’, which houses the HQ of Deutsche Post and DHL. So as one would expect when it comes to parcel deliveries then the city is well catered for an both DHL and Deutsche Post offering a good ground delivery service.

First Class Service
The service was fabulous from start to finish. I sent a parcel to my daughters in Australia. Paperwork was very uncomplicated, unlike previous companies that I have used. Collection was prompt and tracking available in less than 24 hours. It was picked up from my home on a Tuesday and delivered to my daughter’s house in Australia on Sunday morning. Pricing was extremely competitive. I will definitely use this company again.

Great value for money
Great value for money. Fast and quick delivery with detailed tracking info. All and all, I would definitely use these guys again whenever I need to.
If Carling delivered parcels they could not be better than World Wide Parcel Svs
I would recommend these guys to anyone who wishes to consign a parcel or (in my case a crate weighing about 65Kg), they collect the goods, the basic charge includes insurance of the packet up to £100, if it is more there is a very reasonable additional charge up to the value of whatever is being dispatched. It is simplicity in itself to track the item whether or not it is home or abroad. I paid £82. something to send a second hand motorcycle engine to some where in mid Germany, good heavens, it cost me £22 to send a birthday present to my grandson in Manchester, about 125 miles away! (Royal Mail) and it was only a radio controlled model car, mainly plastic! By the time I had constructed a sturdy crate for the engine I couldn't even pick it up & it was not a problem, it was on the truck in about 30 seconds!
