Post Clothing in 5 Steps with Worldwide Parcel Services

First, you will need suitable packaging. If you are only sending one t-shirt or a couple of pairs of socks, a padded envelope may suffice. If you are sending multiple items of clothing, you will need a sturdy cardboard box.

Wrap your clothing carefully to ensure any clothing cannot catch or rip other items, and seal with tape. Pay close attention to clothing with zips or underwire, as well as any dyed fabrics that could bleed.

Put the wrapped garment(s) in the envelope or box, and fill any remaining space with loose packaging, such as packing peanuts.

Seal the box or envelope with tape. If you are recycling a used box, make sure that you remove any old labels from the outside.

How do I send clothes by courier?

With Worldwide Parcel Services! Simply get a quote from us for your clothing parcel, and you can quickly and easily compare prices from renowned couriers like DPD, DHL and UPS. You'll find our prices are cheaper than if you went direct, and cheaper than Royal Mail too!

How should I package clothes for shipping?

Everything you send should always be carefully packed to ensure the goods will not be damaged in transit. When it comes to clothing, you should wrap individual items, taking extra care if a garment has a zip, button, or underwire, for example. You should also take care of any garments that are dyed and may bleed if they get wet.

After carefully wrapping the goods, you should pack them in a sturdy box and fill any gaps with a loose packaging material, such has packing peanuts.

What is the cheapest way to send clothes?

With a courier! Couriers tend to be cheaper than Royal Mail when it comes to sending parcels, and your parcel will probably arrive quicker too. When you are ready to send your parcel of clothes, compare prices with Worldwide Parcel Services to find the best parcel delivery service for you.
