Claims & Surcharges

To obtain our discounts we have to ensure that the parcels our customers send are within the parameters specified by the parcel shippers we use.

Subsequently, if customers under-declare weights or dimensions of parcels, accidentally or intentionally, the following surcharges will be applied to the cost of the parcel:

If you need to change the collection address / date. There will be a charge of £10.00 plus vat levied.

UK Parcels

Please remember we can send parcels of most sizes, but you must email or call us for parcels outside our standard criteria.

DPD UK COLLECTION

Maximum weight 20 kilos

Maximum length 100cm

Maximum girth 270 cm

Maximum cube 0,12m

A minimum £30.00 surcharge applies if you exceed any of these criteria.

Parcels exceeding these criteria can be booked using the other options.

DPD will on occasion leave a shipment at a neighbouring address if the reciever is not at home.

OTHER UK COLLECTION OPTIONS

Maximum weight 70 kilos.

Maximum length 230cm.

The per kilo rate applicable plus a £20.00 vat  administration charge will be applied if these criteria are exceeded.

Aborted collection charge - £8.51 VAT

Hard copy proof of delivery of the parcel(pod) requested within 3 months- £3.00 VAT

Hard copy pod requested for parcel after 3 months - £6.00 VAT

Parcel to be returned to sender - £original charge  25%  VAT

International Shipments

The additional price per kilo rate applicable to the countries shipping zone, plus a £20.00 VAT administration charge.

Any customs duties charged to our account will be charged to the customer with 10% administration charge (minimum charge £10.00 VAT) added.

Parcels over 120cm on  European Road and Worldwide Air services attract a £25.00 vat surcharge.

Max length of any parcel 230cm.

Max weight of any parcel 500 kilos.
