Send a Parcel to Vienna, Austria

One word, 'Breathtaking'. If you want a city in Europe that has it all in terms of sightseeing, restaurants, hotels, nightlife etc. Then every one of these descriptions can be applied to Vienna, and then some, as it is a huge city with the best of all of these thrown into the mix.

The city is the capital of Austria and by far and away the largest city within the country and accordingly it is the cultural, economical and political centre of Austria.

Once home to the Habsburg Court, which headed an Empire, Vienna still has the feel of an imperial capital about it and of note is that the centre is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Should you be there at New Year then the Vienna’s New Years Eve Ball and Concert on New Years day are un-missable – if you are lucky enough to get tickets that is! Note though that the New Years day concert is targeted towards tourists and tickets can be quite expensive for what they actually offer you.

Indeed Balls are a theme of the city and many guilds hold their own Balls in stunning locations such as the famous Hofburg or Rathaus.

Our tip would be to avoid the canal tours, unlike many city’s they aren't nice and you won’t see lots of interesting architecture but backs of industrial buildings instead.

Vienna is possibly most famous for the Viennese Waltz and Operetta, both of which were penned by one Johann Strauss!

The city features a staggering 21 different markets, which are open daily along with traditional farmers market held on Saturday mornings. You will find everything here from the very cheap to the extremely expensive. There is also a fantastic Christmas market.

Should any of your Christmas market purchases be too big or delicate to take back on the plane, then why not ship them back using our Christmas present delivery service.

Shipping parcels to and from the region is straight forwards, however note that unlike its nearby neighbour Germany, English is not so widely spoken and you will need to take this into consideration if you have an issue that you need to contact a local parcel courier with, however this is something that we take care of for you.

I’ve used this service twice abd each…

I’ve used this service twice abd each time the website tells me how long I’ve got for a collection on the day I’ve placed the order. I’ve placed the order and immediately been told it’s too late for a collection! This means my collection has to be rescheduled or I take it to a local drop off point. I’d rather they were honest when placing the order. Apart from that Theresa in the office is most helpful, the pricing is very competitive and things have been delivered internationally successfully.

Best service ever

Best service ever. Been sending parcels to my son in USA for 22 years with various other companies. Sometimes problematic with delays and losses. No issues , no delays,no excuses. Just great service. What they say is what you get. Well done !!

No five star as there was some delay. Driver said he did not need 3 +1 copies of paperwork but I insisted he took them. Service ok but in the past has been excellent ( different carriers ?)
