German-based parcel courier DPD are one of the world's leading delivery companies. Founded in the late 70s in Germany, the company grew quickly year after year. Deliveries increased from an already impressive 1.4 million parcel deliveries in the first year, up to an extremely impressive 7.0 million after just three years in 1980. The feat in itself would see the courier become internationally known and a major service which many businesses depend, trust and rely upon.

Nowadays, that 7 Million deliveries in a year figure is frankly dwarfed by the statistics they can muscle today. An average day for DPD Couriers sees as many as 2 million parcels delivered on a daily basis.
